On the morning of March 15, 2024, Ba Ria – Vung Tau College of Technology (BCTech) organized a seminar “Sharing experiences in building and certifying training programs according to ABET standards”. Dr. Chau Minh Quang, Deputy Director of the Institute of International and Postgraduate Training, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, attended and shared experiences with the Board of Directors, leaders of departments and faculties of BCTech.

At the conference, Dr. Chau Minh Quang informed BCTech of the contents of the ABET standards and shared experiences on organizing, building, improving training programs and evaluating subjects according to the 8 evaluation criteria of the standards. This. According to Dr. Chau Minh Quang, in addition to universities, colleges also need to accredit training programs according to ABET standards, and also need support from international organizations, domestic and foreign experts, to develop and improve training quality to meet international standards.

Thematic seminar program “Sharing experiences in building and certifying training programs according to ABET standards” aims to create conditions for BCTech managers to exchange, learn, and accumulate more professional knowledge about Evaluation of training programs from experienced experts in this field. Through this, the school has a basis to build and adjust training programs in accordance with international standards, creating an advanced learning environment and improving knowledge for learners.
