BCTech celebrates the 25th anniversary of the school’s establishment 1998 – 2023 and the opening ceremony of the 2023 – 2024 school year

On the morning of November 20, 2023, Ba Ria – Vung Tau College of Technology (BCTech) solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the school’s establishment (1998 – 2023) and the opening of the 2023 – 2024 school year.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Le Tan Dung, Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Committee of BR-VT province; Mr. Bui Chi Thanh, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Xinh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda Department, Mr. Huynh Van Danh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Committee; Mr. Tran Dinh Khoa, Secretary of Vung Tau City Party Committee; Mr. Le Hoang Hai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council and representatives of departments and branches attended the ceremony.

On the school’s side were Mr. Ngo Xuan Khoat, Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Principal of the school; Ms. Truong Huynh Nhu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Principal of the school, along with teachers and former students of many generations; Leaders of departments, faculties, teachers and more than 1,700 new students and representatives of leaders of vocational education institutions and businesses attended.

At the ceremony, the school held a training cooperation signing ceremony between the school and agencies and businesses; received nearly 2 billion VND in sponsorship from organizations and businesses.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Tan Dung, Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs congratulated the school’s achievements over the past 25 years. Mr. Le Tan Dung requested the school to continue to innovate more strongly in management, teaching and learning methods; continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, dynamism, and creativity to seek new directions to improve both the scale and quality of training.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee acknowledged the school’s efforts to strengthen relationships; bringing high efficiency in orientation, streamlining, and career guidance for students, enrollment and training organization, especially job placement immediately after graduation for the school community over the past 25 years . Mr. Nguyen Van Tho suggested that the school continue to mobilize resources for development; Focus on training and improving the quality of teachers and administrators; Innovate programs and textbooks in accordance with the development of science and technology and international integration.

On this occasion, the school gives gifts of gratitude to leaders, officials, and workers. The Provincial People’s Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 collectives and 5 individuals who have made many contributions to vocational training, contributing to the construction and development of the school.
