Awarded certificates to 50 students who completed advanced training

In the morning of September 9, 2022, Ba Ria – Vung Tau College of Engineering and Technology held the closing ceremony of the training course to improve skills in manufacturing, installing technological pipes and industrial electricity.

The training course to improve skills in manufacturing and installing industrial electrical and technological pipes will be implemented from February 20 to July 19, 2022, by Zarubezhneft Vietnam and its partners in Block 06.1 – Oil and Gas Company India ONGC Videsh and Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) sponsored with a total budget of up to 45,000 USD.

A total of 50 students participated in the course, of which 26 students in Advanced Technology Pipe Fabrication and Installation, 24 in Advanced Industrial Electrical. Students receive advanced training in vocational skills and English communication at work to meet the recruitment needs of businesses.

100% of students participating in the course have completed the advanced training course

The training program to improve vocational skills is designed with a duration of 400 hours, focusing on advanced and advanced skills according to the production technology requirements of enterprises. The English language training program is designed with a duration of 60 hours. In which, 80% of the time is used for basic communication English training and 20% of the time is for specialized English training. Students are taught directly by foreign lecturers up to 50% of the program time. Trainees participating in the training can study the entire course for free, and receive an additional support of 2.5 USD/student/school day. At the end of the training course, 100% of the students completed the program, 86% of the students got the Good or better. After graduation, students are supported by the school to find jobs.
