Dated 3 Oct 2017, The delegation of Izumiotsu city government led by Mr. Hideto Nakayama – Director of Regional Economic Division, General Policy Department, Izumiotsu city government visited and worked with Ba Ria – Vung Tau College of Technology. Mr. Le Duy Cau – The principal had met and worked with the delegation.

Representative of the Izumiotsu city government, Mr. Hideto Nakayama – Director of Regional Economic Division, General Policy Department, Izumiotsu city government said that Ba Ria-Vung Tau province and Izumiotsu city have become strategic partners in the development of business as well as investment cooperation. Two localities want to tighten the relationship, not only economic cooperation but also the development of education and training. Mr. Hideto Nakayama said that Japan is in need of a large number of workers, especially for manufacturing industry, and expect to send students of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province to work in Japan.

The meeting view

Mr. Masahiro Matsuoka – Chief Executive Officer, First Study Japanese Language would like to teach Japanese language for local students and send them to Japan for long-term study.

At the meeting, Mr. Le Duy Cau – The principal of the college expressed his pleasure to welcome the delegation. Mr. Cau also hoped First Study School would open a Japanese language school located inside the college’s campus so that it could help to meet the need of learning Japanese language of the students and local people.

As a result of the meeting, the two sides hoped to cooperate in training and developing high quality human resources for Japanese businesses in Ba Ria – Vung Tau and Japan.
