On 11/9/2017, the delegation of Kenan Institute Asia (Thailand) led by Mr. John Da Silva – Director of International Cooperation and Ms. Phan Kieu Anh – Program Director of Kenan Foundation Vietnam visited and worked with Ba Ria-Vung Tau College of Technology (BCTECH). Mr. Le Duy Cau – the Principal and Mr. Ngo Xuan Khoat – Vice principal had welcome and work with the delegation.

Kenan is a non-profit organization of Thai Lan that has been operating in some Southeast Asia countries for 20 years, such as Thailand, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam. In Vietnam, Kenan focuses on four main areas of activity: public health, education, sustainable economic development, disability support, and a number of other areas. They have been successfully implemented many projects in northern provinces.

At the meeting, the delegation learned about the college’s training model, some programs and projects that have been implemented. Thereby, they could better understand the vocational training programs of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, the key industries, as well as the issues of employment for the youth in the province.

Mr. Le Duy Cau – the College’s Principal highly appreciates the effectiveness of the projects that Kenan has deployed. He expects that Kenan organization will have many opportunities for cooperation and implementation of projects in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province in near future, especially in vocational training field.
